PHOENIX — Are you one of the many Arizonans who are proud to be an American?
A poll released Wednesday by OH Predictive Insights found that a large majority — 89% — of Arizonans surveyed said they are extremely or moderately proud to be an American.
The poll of 800 likely Arizona voters was conducted Tuesday, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.46%.
“We found that 3 out of 4 likely Arizona voters are extremely proud to be American,” Mike Noble, OH Predictive Insights chief researcher, told KTAR News 92.3 FM.

“The interesting thing there is that those that live in rural Arizona are more proud to be an American than those in Maricopa County.”
Overall, 7% of Arizonans said they are only a little proud to be an American, while about 5% said they are not at all proud.
About 95% of Republicans said they were extremely or moderately proud to be an American, while 81% of Democrats answered that way.
“I think you see a bit of that polarization rearing its head there, but overall, folks are proud to be an American in Arizona,” Noble said.
