Philly Pretzel Factory opens first Arizona location in Goodyear

PHOENIX — If a warm, fluffy pretzel is your idea of a good snack, you should be excited about one of Goodyear’s newest restaurants.
Pennsylvania-based Philly Pretzel Factory opened its first Arizona location near Estrella Parkway and Van Buren Street last week, according to a press release.
The 1,200-square-foot restaurant offers a menu that includes pretzel dogs, pretzel cheesecakes, pepperoni pretzel melts and spicy pretzel sausages.
Philly Pretzel Factory has been in business since 1998 and has more than 170 locations in 17 states.

Goodyear residents Gary Love and Nancy Smith have been working since November to open the franchise in their hometown, according to the city.
The couple looked over more than 1,500 resumes. They hired about 15 employees, ranging in age from 17 to 82.
