Mumford & Sons bringing arena-filling brand of folk rock to Phoenix

PHOENIX – Mumford & Sons are bringing their crowd-pleasing, arena-filling brand of British folk rock to Phoenix.
A new leg of the Grammy Award-winning band’s Delta Tour includes a stop at Talking Stick Resort Arena on Sept. 16.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday (Arizona time).
A presale through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program begins Thursday at 10 a.m., but you have to register by 7 p.m. Tuesday to eligible.

Gang of Youths is joining Mumford & Sons on the leg, which starts Sept. 15 in San Diego and includes Southwest, West Coast and Mexico shows.
September’s performance will be Mumford & Sons’ third as an arena headliner in the Valley. The previous times were at Ak-Chin Pavilion in 2013 and 2016.
They have been touring behind their fourth studio album, “Delta,” since November 2018.
The London band has been nominated for 13 Grammy Awards since 2011, with two wins, including album of the year for “Babel” in 2013.
