PHOENIX– Arizona drivers have more closures on the Loop 101 to watch out for.
The Arizona Department of Transportation announced that the Loop 101 ramps at Scottsdale and Hayden Roads will be closed for about 60 days starting Monday night at 9 p.m.
The eastbound on-ramp at Scottsdale Road and the eastbound off-ramp at Hayden Road will be shut down as part of the ongoing Loop 101 widening project.
This portion of the project will allow crews to prepare for the upcoming construction of new bridges over a future section of Miller Road.
For about 2 months, L-101 ramp closures will be in place at Scottsdale and Hayden roads.
Closures begin Monday at the:
– Scottsdale eastbound on-ramp.
– Hayden eastbound off-ramp.More: https://t.co/iir00OX1jR#PhxTraffic pic.twitter.com/A2h2PXq6dF

ADOT said drivers who typically exit eastbound Loop 101 at Hayden should use either Scottsdale Road or Pima Road/Princess Drive.
For those who use the Scottsdale on-ramp, drivers should consider 64th Street or Hayden Road.
The Loop 101 Pima Freeway Improvement Project will add new travel lanes along 13 miles between the Interstate 17 and Pima Road/Princess Drive in Scottsdale. The project began in February 2019 and is expected to be completed in early 2021.
