PHOENIX — Interstate 10 reopened at Seventh Street on Wednesday morning after it was closed for a police situation.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, troopers closed the freeway around 6:45 a.m. because of a “suicidal subject.”
They said the subject was taken into custody without injury, leading to the roadways being reopened.
Delays due to the resulting backups were expected throughout the morning.
