PHOENIX — A 20-acre industrial subdivision is set to open soon in southeast Mesa, the city announced Wednesday.
The Landing at PMG will consist of six buildings for a total of 281,000 square feet in the city’s Phoenix-Mesa-Gateway Airport area near Ray and Sossaman Roads, according to a press release.
So far, three tenants — Collabtech Group, Huesman Brothers Door and Custom Molding, and Russell-Sigler Inc. — have signed agreements to move in, creating 50 jobs.
The development is located in one of Mesa’s “opportunity zones.” Investors who put capital gains into a fund that invests in an opportunity zone can defer and sometimes reduce the taxes on those gains as part of a federal program, according to the release.
“It’s exciting to watch southeast Mesa maintain its momentum as a thriving economic engine for the entire city,” Mayor John Giles said in the release.
An important decision businesses make is location and I guarantee that any business that chooses The Landing at PMG has chosen wisely. Just minutes away from @gatewayairport and three freeways these six buildings are easy to get to for employees and customers alike. pic.twitter.com/9cVdyTipkt
