83-year-old Phoenix woman found unresponsive in backyard pool

PHOENIX — An 83-year-old Phoenix woman was found unresponsive in her backyard pool on Saturday, according to Phoenix Fire.

Authorities said the woman was without a pulse and not breathing when they arrived at her residence near 7th Street and Bell Road.

The woman was found in the pool by her daughter, authorities said. It’s unknown how long the woman was in pool for.

Fire crews are attempting to resuscitate the woman.

No other information was immediately available.
