PHOENIX – Authorities stopped a wrong-way driver who sped for nearly a dozen miles on two Scottsdale freeways early Monday morning.
Sheila Wynice McReynolds, 52, drove against light traffic on State Route 51 and Loop 101 starting around 1:30 a.m, according to Scottsdale police. No one was injured.
McReynolds got on SR 51 near Shea Boulevard and made her way over to Loop 101, even using her turn signal to merge.
She then headed east in westbound lanes.

A Phoenix Police helicopter tracked the dark-colored car, a spotlight shining down on her.
Scottsdale Police eventually got her to stop near the Hayden Road ramp.
McReynolds was arrested and booked on suspicion of aggravated DUI.
