PHOENIX — The deadline to apply online for 2019 fall hunts is right around the corner.

All online applications for permit-tags issued through the draw process for deer, fall turkey, fall javelina, bighorn sheep, fall bison and sandhill crane must be received by the Arizona Game and Fish Department no later than 11:59 p.m. on June 11.

Applying online represents the only method to enter the draw process as the paper application deadline passed on May 14.

Applications cost $13 for residents and $15 for non-residents.

Applicants must have a valid Arizona hunting license to apply for a fall hunt. The license must run through the deadline of the draw.

The drawing system is completed at random.

Typically, draw rates for deer, javelina and turkey are more favorable than other big game draws such as bighorn sheep and bison.

Hunting enthusiasts can apply on the AZGFD’s website.

Applicants can also call customer service from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for more information.

We want to hear from you.
