A crash involving a semi-truck started the fire near Buffalo Range Road, closing both directions of traffic. One vehicle was on fire, while the other lost its load of produce.
There’s no estimated time for the reopening of the eastbound lanes, according to ADOT.
ADOT suggests motorists consider alternate routes or delaying travel as delays are expected.
