PHOENIX – The body of an Arizona man who was the subject of a Silver Alert last month has been found, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.

Max Schrader of Mobile, west of Maricopa, was last seen on April 3 driving his white 2002 Mazda Familia with Arizona wheelchair license plate number GKX47.

He was reported missing April 6, and a Silver Alert was issued April 8.

A day later, Schrader’s vehicle was found approximately 12 miles north of his home.

On April 13, family members found his body a few miles south of his vehicle.

The MCSO said Thursday there were no suspicious circumstances.

Detectives were awaiting the autopsy report from the medical examiner.

Schrader was deaf and had no other known medical conditions.
