PHOENIX – Gilbert police have arrested a worker at a day center program for developmentally challenged adults on suspicion of inappropriately touching a woman client.
Abram Grace, 40, was booked Wednesday on one count of sexual assault and one count of vulnerable adult abuse, police said.
According to charging documents, the 31-year-old victim reported that she and Grace were watching a movie on Wednesday when he put his hand inside her shorts.
Staff at the facility said she told them of the touching and they informed Adult Protective Services and police.
Authorities said surveillance video shows Grace periodically putting his arms around the victim and embracing her from behind several times.
Grace was taken into custody and booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail in Phoenix. He was being held on a $100,000 cash bond and will be assigned a public defender.
Police said they knew of no other victims.
