PHOENIX — A Canada-based pasta restaurant has opened its first U.S. store and it is in the heart of Scottsdale.

Mia Pasta opened at Scottsdale Fashion Square in late March.

The restaurant, founded in Quebec, features eight types of pasta, 12 sauces and more than 30 fresh protein and produce ingredients.

Mia Pasta is located in the food court on the mall’s lower level and is part of its multi-million-dollar renovation project.

Tocaya Organica, a Mexican restaurant, also recently opened at Fashion Square.

“The renovation at Scottsdale Fashion Square is all about reinventing the shopping experience, and outstanding new restaurants are an important part of that strategy,” Christina Lanoue, AVP of Property Management said in a press release.

“Culinary concepts like Mia Pasta and Tocaya Organica, which let patrons enjoy meals that satisfy their personal tastes, are essential ingredients for making the shopping center a true culinary destination.”
