Phoenix Fire finds 48-year-old male dead in backyard pool

PHOENIX — A 48-year-old male was found dead in a backyard pool on Sunday morning, according to Phoenix Fire.
Firefighters were dispatched to the residence near Interstate 17 and Dunlap Avenue at around 7:30 a.m. after reports that the man was in the pool.
When crews arrived at the residence, they found the man unresponsive in the pool.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear how long the male was in the pool.
An investigation into the death is underway.
