PHOENIX – Coworking office space company WeWork is planning to open its first three Valley locations beginning this summer.

The New York-based company provides shared workspaces for businesses of all sizes, according to a press release.

WeWork plans to open two offices in Phoenix and one in Tempe.

The Phoenix locations will be in the Camelback Esplanade, on 24th Street and Camelback Road, and in downtown Phoenix, on Monroe Street and First Avenue.

The Tempe location will be in the Watermark located on Scottsdale Road and the Loop 202.

WeWork plans to open the Esplanade location in August 2019, with the other two locations scheduled to open in fall 2019, according to the release.

The Esplanade location will be 46,000 square feet and will offer 900 “hot desks” available for rent.

The offices will include coffee bars, conference rooms, common areas and cleaning services.

WeWork offers headquarter private offices, private office suites or shared offices for individuals or teams to rent monthly.

According to the release, WeWork currently has 425 locations in 100 cities globally.

Colliers International Group Inc., a real estate services and investment management company, has been appointed to lead leasing efforts at the Valley locations, according to the release.

“The WeWork brand and lifestyle brings a flexible and contemporary opportunity to greater Phoenix for end users of space that is sure to be eagerly welcomed by businesses in every industry,” Ryan Timpani, executive vice president with Colliers International, said in the release.
