Police release identity of suspect in fatal Glendale road-rage shooting

PHOENIX – The identity of a suspect wanted in a fatal road rage shooting in a Phoenix suburb has been released, after he turned himself over to police, authorities said Tuesday.
Daddy Alexander Felix, 22, showed up at a Phoenix police station Sunday to tell them he was the man wanted in Saturday’s shooting near 67th and Peoria avenues in Glendale.
Alexander Pettygrove, 18, was shot Saturday and died at a hospital. An 18-year-old passenger was also injured and hospitalized.
Witnesses told police that there was an altercation between two vehicle before gunfire was heard.

They said the suspect vehicle pulled up beside Pettygrove’s vehicle in an intersection and people in both vehicles exchanged words before Pettygrove threw a drink at the other vehicle.
Witnesses said the suspect fired several rounds into Pettygrove’s car, then fled.
Felix was booked on second-degree homicide, aggravated assault, drive by shooting and unlawful discharge of a firearm.
