Salvation Army to host Easter egg hunt in south Phoenix this weekend

PHOENIX — The Salvation Army is hosting the fourth annual RJ’s Egg Hunt in south Phoenix on Saturday.
The egg hunt is sponsored by the Salvation Army and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center.
The free event is for children ages 11 and younger. The egg hunts will take place at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
The event will be held at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center, located on 14th Street and Broadway Road.
In addition to the egg hunts, there will be bounce houses, an obstacle course and dance performances.
Team Smile will also be partnering with the Arizona Cardinals to provide free dental screenings, treatment and preventative care.
According to a press release, no insurance is required, but those interested have to register in advance by calling (602) 425-5000.
The dental services will be available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Kroc Center gym.
