Motorists were asked to exit the Loop 101 at State Route 51 to avoid the backup at Tatum Boulevard.

As of 10:30 a.m. motorists were being allowed to pass by the crash on the far right lane but backups had extended well in front of the Tatum Boulevard exit as cars were forced to funnel to the right.
The closure was functioning back to normal by 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
