UPDATE: This event has been postponed.

PHOENIX – Celine Dion’s multiyear stretch of Las Vegas shows is coming to an end, but her shows will go on.

The powerhouse vocalist announced Thursday she’ll embark on a North American tour this fall that will bring her to metro Phoenix next spring.

The “My Heart Will Go On” crooner is scheduled to perform at Gila River Arena in Glendale on March 29, 2020.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.

Dion’s Courage World Tour will kick off Sept. 18 in Quebec City, Canada, three months after her final scheduled show of an eight-year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

It was her second residency at the venue, following more than 700 shows there from 2003 to 2007.

The upcoming seven-month tour includes more than 50 dates in the U.S. and Canada and concludes north of the border in Winnipeg on April 27.

The 51-year-old Canadian also announced that a new album, “Courage,” her 12th studio release, would come out in November.

Dion hasn’t toured North America since 2009. According to setlist.fm, she’s only performed in the Valley twice before, in Glendale in 2008 and Phoenix in 1998.

The Grammy-winning singer said she felt motivated recently to get back on the road and create music for the first time since the death of her husband-manager René Angélil in 2016.

“I was supposed to be at Caesars for a few months and sixteen years later, I’m on the road and album coming out,” she said. “I cannot feel stronger than I feel here. I’m finding passion, finding my team, in control, in charge, feeling strong and healthy. I take care of myself. I’m happy.”

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Editor’s note: This show was originally announced for March 30 but was moved to March 29.
