PHOENIX — The Phoenix Rescue Mission’s largest event of the year is next month, but it needs your help.
The nonprofit is hoping for a donation of 1,500 fully assembled Easter baskets for the Easter Community Celebration, scheduled for April 13.
The carnival-style event will provide food, entertainment, games and activities for homeless and underprivileged families.
The nonprofit is also asking for 5,000 Easter eggs for an Easter egg hunt and 700 food boxes for families to take home.
The deadline for donating the Easter baskets, which need to be pre-wrapped in cellophane, is April 5.
You can donate baskets at the Mission Donation Warehouse at 3440 W. Lewis Ave, Building A Suite G, Phoenix, 85009, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
