LA Fitness opens first Signature Club in Arizona

PHOENIX — Phoenicians searching for an upgraded fitness experience now have another choice in the East Valley.
LA Fitness last Wednesday opened a Signature Club in Gilbert, the first of its kind in Arizona.
The 34,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility features several resort-style amenities, including a full basketball court, a 25-yard three-lane lap pool, a whirlpool spa and executive-style locker rooms.
“The location in one of the fastest-growing cities in the state along with the vibrant fitness-conscious community made Gilbert the ideal choice to introduce our higher-end Signature Club to Arizona,” Dion Gentile, LA Fitness’ regional vice president of sales and marketing, said in a press release.

The club, located on the southwest corner of Higley Road and the Loop 202, also offers group fitness classes seven days a week, personal training, weight stations and babysitting services as part of the membership.
The club will host a grand opening party on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Signature Club is open Monday through Thursday from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., Fridays from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
A monthly membership starts at $44.99 per month with a $99 initiation fee.
LA Fitness operates 44 clubs in Arizona.
