Two cases of bad guys who apparently can’t kick a bad habit.
The first happened on Feb. 21, just after 4:30 in the afternoon at a Circle K gas station near 27th Avenue and Van Buren Street in Phoenix.
“When the suspect comes into the store,” says Phoenix Police Sgt. Jamie Rothschild. “You can see there are several other customers in there and probably at least two clerks.”
It was a busy time of day, but Rothschild says this guy didn’t care. “He came around the counter, pushed the clerk and started stealing cigarettes.”
He was wearing a parka with a fur-trimmed hood. We know because he put his face right in front of the store surveillance camera while he was grabbing the cigarettes.

Next: These two probably ended up with coal in their stockings for a dangerous robbery on Christmas morning in 2018.
“These two suspects came into the (Circle K) convenience store at 35th Avenue and Peoria (Avenue) and just started stealing cigarettes,” says Rothschild.
One of the men had a hammer and threatened the clerk with it. The clerk wasn’t hurt and the suspects fled with their smokes.
