Tucson and Scottsdale rated among the best cities in nation to get married

PHOENIX — Arizona couples in search for the perfect wedding destination are in luck.

According to WalletHub, Tucson and Scottsdale are the best cities to get married in Arizona and among the best in the country.

The personal finance website ranked Tucson No. 16 and Scottsdale No. 17 nationwide.

WalletHub compared 182 cities in 27 metrics across three categories: costs, facilities/services and activities/attractions.

Tucson ranked 15th in costs and 14th activities/attractions, but ranked 66th for facilities/services.

Scottsdale, the second-best rated Arizona city, was rated No. 4 for best weather.

The other Arizona cities on the list were No. 24 Phoenix, No. 49 Tempe, No. 72 Chandler, No. 76 Mesa, No. 112 Gilbert, No. 124 Glendale and No. 146 Peoria.

Peoria was dinged for it’s lack of flower shops, ranking 179th in that metric.

For couples considering eloping outside of Arizona, the best cities on the list were No. 1 Orlando, Florida, No. 2 Las Vegas and No. 3 Los Angeles.
