26-year-old pedestrian killed following hit-and-run in Phoenix

PHOENIX — A pedestrian was killed following a hit-and-run collision early Sunday morning, according to Phoenix Police.

Police said 26-year-old Quintell Coffman was in the roadway near Van Buren Street and 79th Avenue when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.

The vehicle continued traveling westbound.

Coffman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police asked anyone with information about the incident, specifically the location of the suspect’s vehicle, to contact Phoenix Police at 602-262-6151 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
