Silver Alert canceled after 83-year-old man last seen in Mesa found safe

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled late Sunday for Harold Bergdahl, an 83-year-old man that suffers from dementia.

Bergdahl was last seen in the area of Southern and Power Road, near Leisure World, around midnight Saturday.

He was found safe in Gilbert around 5 p.m. Sunday.

Bergdahl drives a red 2014 Toyota Prius with Arizona license plate BSV6232.
