PHOENIX – Drivers should anticipate long delays on Interstate 17 northbound between Phoenix and Flagstaff due to at least two injury collisions that have caused heavy traffic, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
I-17 northbound is restricted to a single lane at times between mileposts 235-238, a few miles away from Table Mesa Road.
The current estimated travel time between north Phoenix and Flagstaff is more than three hours, with a roughly 10-mile backup starting in the Anthem area.
There is no estimated time for when the backup will be cleared.
Southbound lanes have not affected.
