Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper injured in Phoenix crash

PHOENIX — A trooper with the Arizona Department of Public Safety was injured Friday after an accident near the Interstate 10 and Baseline Road in south Phoenix.

The trooper suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, according to DPS spokesman Bart Graves.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.

The accident occurred around 11 a.m.

No more details were released.

An investigation is ongoing.
