PHOENIX – It’s considered the most expensive home in Arizona, and it’s going up for auction.

The Paradise Valley mansion known as Villa Paradiso was previously listed for $35 million in 2016, a state record for a residence.

New York-based Concierge Auctions will take bids on the opulent property at the end of the month.

Bidding begins digitally Jan. 29 and will conclude Jan. 31 in a live auction at The Phoenician in Scottsdale.

In a case of “if you have to ask, you can’t afford it,” the minimum bid wasn’t being disclosed, although bidders need to put down a $100,000 deposit.

What will the buyer get for his or her millions?

According to Concierge, the property covers more than 8 acres.

The house is more than 30,000 square feet with eight bedrooms, 11 full bathrooms and six half bathrooms.

The interior design was done by Frank Lloyd Wright-trained architect Vernon Swaback and includes a grand rotunda with a domed ceiling, twin staircases and multiple fireplaces.

The exterior features a resort-style pool, a hot tub, black stone pools and waterfalls inspired by Rome’s Villa d’Este and terraces for dining, entertaining and lounging.

The property includes a 10-car garage with five additional covered spaces and a 3,600-square-foot guest house with its own two-car garage and private infinity pool.

As described by the auction website, “Villa Paradiso is a secret paradise that begs adoration on a grand scale.”

We want to hear from you.
