Interstate 17 in north Phoenix to be restricted this week

PHOENIX — Drivers who plan to use the Interstate 17 in north Phoenix this week might want to make some adjustments.
The Arizona Department of Transportation announced that the I-17 north of Loop 101 will have some lane restrictions or ramp closures Thursday night.
The westbound Loop 101 ramp to northbound I-17 will be also closed Friday night for freeway lighting maintenance work.
The department said the northbound I-17 will be narrowed to two lanes between Loop 101 and Jomax Road from 10 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday for temporary barrier-wall installation.
Northbound I-17 ramp to eastbound Loop 101 will be closed from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday for freeway lighting maintenance.
Westbound Loop 101 ramp to northbound I-17 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday for freeway lighting maintenance.
