Silver Alert canceled after Scottsdale woman suffering from dementia found

PHOENIX – A Silver Alert was canceled early Wednesday after a Scottsdale woman who had been missing overnight was found safe.
Police said Brenda Green, 85, called a friend Tuesday around 2 p.m. to ask for directions home from near Seventh Street and Bell Road in north Phoenix.
The friend called Green back a few hours later but the phone was turned off.
Scottsdale police said Green was returned home after being found at a north Scottsdale gas station around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Missing Endangered Adult Brenda Green has been located safe and returned home.

Green was driving a 2004 maroon Saturn Ion, Arizona license plate 559TWS.
She stands 5 feet tall, is of slim build and has shoulder length white hair.
