Canadian singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot to play in Phoenix in March

PHOENIX — Singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot is celebrating his 80th birthday with a spring tour through California, Nevada and Arizona.
He will make a stop at Phoenix’s Celebrity Theatre on March 17.
The Canadian musician has been nominated for five Grammy awards and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1986.
His last release was the “All Live” album in 2012, a collection of live concert recordings from 1998 through 2001.
Known for songs “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald,” “If You Could Read My Mind” and “Carefree Highway,” Lightfoot has been performing since 1958.
His songs have been recorded by legends like Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash.
Reserved seat tickets starting at $35 go on sale Dec. 10.
