The tour gets started in Vancouver, British Columbia on July 10. Shows close to Phoenix were scheduled in San Jose, California, on July 14 and Los Angeles on July 19.
The group finished a three-week stay in Las Vegas in September.
Lambert said they have been “designing a brand new visual spectacle that will reframe these iconic songs and we are excited to unveil it!”
Queen’s big hits include, “We Are the Champions,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” “We Will Rock You,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” and “Killer Queen.”
Lambert first shared the stage with Queen during the 2009 “American Idol” final.
Since then, he has stepped into the lead singer role once filled by Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991.
The story of Mercury’s life, musicianship and showmanship has been raking in big bucks at the box office in the biographical musical, “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
The film, starring Rami Malek, passed the $500 million mark worldwide over the weekend.
