Silver Alert canceled after Chandler man with autism found safe

PHOENIX – A Silver Alert has been canceled in Arizona after a young man with autism who was missing since late last week was found safe on Monday.
Chandler Police said the last time anyone saw Omar Rodriguez, 25, was at his home near and Friday around 9 p.m.
The Silver Alert was issued late Sunday night and was canceled around 8 a.m. Monday after Rodriguez was found in Coolidge.
Rodriguez, who is 5 feet 9 inches tall and 170 pounds, likes to be around the Valley Metro light rail. He has black hair and brown eyes.
He doesn’t know anyone outside of Chandler. Rodriguez doesn’t drive or have access to a car.
