PHOENIX — Looking for ways to give back this holiday season?
The Arizona Humane Society announced Wednesday that it has reached critical capacity and needs homes for 80 sick and injured pets.
Some of the cats and dogs have colds; others need as little as two weeks of recovery from injuries.
The nonprofit said it is able to provide foster homes with toys, crates, food and treats.

Foster families are only expected to house animals temporarily, but if they get attached, they have first dibs on adopting.
The humane society houses more than 600 pets in its shelters, while 466 pets are living in foster homes.
Anyone interested in helping out a furry friend can sign up online.
Potential foster families can browse through the pets online to find the right fit, or they can meet them in person at shelters.
