PHOENIX — Shopping at Park West in Peoria might be getting a little bit easier.
Five new tenants have been slated to open by the spring of 2019 and more than $4 million of renovations have been announced at the West Valley shopping center.
Forever 21, Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, Koi Poke, Orange Theory Fitness and Creamistry all plan to open ahead of a grand re-opening of the property in the fall of 2019.
Jonathan Yee, senior property manager at Park West, said that the new additions could just be the beginning of the expansion at the shopping center.
“Park West is an incredible location with easy access to the freeway in the heart of the West Valley,” Yee said.
The center is also redesigning its logo to match the shape of an agave flower, which will be portrayed by a splash pad in the center of the new plaza.
New signs along the Loop 101 near the exits at Northern and 99th avenues will showcase the plaza vacancies and the Harkins Theater located in the plaza.
Those additions, plus wood-lattices with misters and vines to provide shade will be added as part of the $4 million renovation.
“It isn’t just the new businesses coming to Park West that people are going to be excited about,” Yee said. “The renovations are going to enhance the landscape of this entire venue.”
