Welcome to Westeros: Science center to host ‘Game of Thrones’ night

PHOENIX — Fans of TV’s “Game of Thrones” are invited to visit Westeros on Friday night.
The Arizona Science Center is hosting a party for fans of the HBO show that will include laser light shows, science demonstrations and Game of Throne-themed activities such as a cosplay competition.
In addition to the “Game of Thrones” activities, two episodes will be available for viewing.
At 8 p.m., travel beyond the wall to see the Ice Worlds Planetarium Show and see what the world will look like once winter comes.
At 9 p.m., the Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon laser show will take place.
Admission for nonmembers is $12 while members get in free. The two shows cost extra.
Only people 21 years and older are allowed to attend.
The event will take place from 6-10 p.m.
