Silver Alert canceled after ailing 85-year-old Surprise man found safe

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert has been canceled after an 85-year-old man who was last seen at his Phoenix-area home early Tuesday was found safe shortly after.
William Watson was reported missing after he left his residence near Mountain View Boulevard and Parkview Place in Surprise.
He was last seen around 7:20 a.m. Authorities said he was found in Mesa shortly before 10 a.m.
Watson was believed to be driving a gray 2013 Honda Accord with Arizona license plate number 791DR.
According to his family, Watson has been diagnosed with medical conditions that cause him to become confused or disoriented.
He was last seen wearing khaki-colored shorts.
