PHOENIX — Former Olympic swim star Michael Phelps has sold his family’s Phoenix-area home just about six months after listing it, according to a real estate site.

Phelps and his wife Nicole Johnson sold the single-story, 6,008-square-foot Paradise Valley property for $3.5 million, Mansion Global reported Wednesday.

That was down from the original $4.125 million asking price in June. The price dropped again the next month, to $3.99 million and again in October, to $3.75 million.

Realty One Group Allegro Ventures of Las Vegas, Nevada, reportedly bought the house.

Phelps, 33, and Johnson paid $2.53 million for the site in December 2015.

The home has five bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, four fireplaces and a large pool.

Phelps won 23 gold medals and 28 overall during his long career, the most of any Olympian.

He began coaching as a volunteer for Arizona State University’s swim team in 2016, after returning from the 2016 Rio Games and retiring.

The couple has frequently posted photos to Instagram of them and their young sons, Boomer and Beckett, at home.

We want to hear from you.
