British rock band Muse announces tour date in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Grammy Award-winning British rock band Muse announced its new tour on Monday and Phoenix will be one of the first stops.

The band will come to Talking Stick Resort Arena on Feb. 26 as part of their “Simulation Theory World Tour.”

Tickets for the Phoenix show go on sale to the general public on Nov. 16 at 1 p.m.

Muse will begin its tour on Feb. 22 in Houston.

The tour is in collaboration with the release of Muse’s new album, “Simulation Theory,” which will be released Friday.

Fans who pre-order the album can purchase tickets on Nov. 13, three days before the general public.

Muse is made up of Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard.

The band last played in Phoenix in Dec. 2015.
