PHOENIX – Metal legend Ozzy Osbourne is coming back to Phoenix next year to say goodbye again.
The strangest father figure in reality TV history will be barking at the moon at Ak-Chin Pavilion on July 25 as part of his No More Tours II tour.
Tickets, ranging from $29.50 to $250 plus service charges, go on sale to the general public through Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. Friday.
Veteran thrash titans Megadeth will open the show.
Ozzy performed at Ak-Chin Pavilion in 2016 with Black Sabbath on the metal pioneers’ farewell The End tour.
The first No More Tours tour (the name is a play on the song title “No More Tears”) took place in 1992, when Ozzy played at the same Phoenix venue, which was known as Desert Sky Pavilion at the time.
That “retirement” didn’t stick, and he’s played multiple solo shows in Phoenix since then.
JUST ANNOUNCED: @OzzyOsbourne's #NoMoreTours2 with @Megadeth is coming to Ak-Chin Pavilion on July 25! Presales start 11/6 at 10am.

In addition to his career as one of heavy music’s greatest vocalists, Ozzy became pop culture icon thanks to the MTV reality show that featured his family, “The Osbournes.”
The show changed his image from that of a bat-biting Prince of Darkness to a bumbling, loveable dad.
Next year’s Phoenix concert is part of the sixth leg of Ozzy’s current farewell tour, which started in April.
Only two shows, both in California, are scheduled after his Valley appearance. The final show is set for July 29 at the Hollywood Bowl.
