PHOENIX — A newly released Trafalgar Group poll found that Democratic Senate hopeful Kyrsten Sinema held a three-point lead over Republican opponent Martha McSally, 50 percent to 47 percent.
When taking undecided voters into account, the race looks even closer — pulling them out of the equation leaves McSally ahead of Sinema by just 0.2 percent.
It’s the voters leaning toward Sinema (3.6 percent) that put her ahead.
The numbers reaffirm that one of the nation’s most closely watched races is remaining neck and neck, down to just two days before Election Day.
The poll was conducted from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1 and included 2,166 respondents. The margin of error was 2.1 percent.
Almost 70 percent of respondents were white, while about 65 percent were over the age of 50.
Out of 10 polls conducted in October, Sinema was leading in all but four, with one FOX News poll showing a tie.
