PHOENIX — Less than two weeks after his father was in the Valley to stump for Republican Senate candidate Martha McSally, Donald Trump Jr. was in town Thursday on a similar mission.
President Donald Trump’s oldest child appeared at the GOP office in a Sun City strip mall with girlfriend and former Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle.
McSally and U.S. Rep. Debbie Lesko also took the stage during the 35-minute rally.
Trump Jr. spoke last, engaging the crowd for around 15 minutes and covering ground his father often treads. He critiqued the media and touted the Trump administration’s successes in economic matters and foreign policy.

He then urged the few hundred people who filled the room to vote.
“Please get out there. Make sure we get these great people in the House and the Senate, respectively, and if we do we can keep America and Arizona great,” he said, signaling to Lesko and McSally.
Guilfoyle also trumpeted the accomplishments of the elder Trump and said he could achieve even more if McSally defeats Democratic opponent Kyrsten Sinema in Tuesday’s midterm election.

“The president wants you to help him by delivering McSally to D.C.” she said.
Guilfoyle took a shot at Sinema as well the Arizona senator whose decision not to run for re-election left the seat up for grabs.
“We don’t need another flake like Jeff Flake, do we? No flakes for us,” she said.
McSally followed Guilfoyle and launched into attack mode.
“She’s extreme, out of touch, has not supported our strong ally Israel in the past, has been a left-wing activist,” she said of Sinema. “You all know that.”
Lesko, who is running for re-election against Dr. Hiral Tipirneni in the 8th Congressional District, spoke briefly before Guilfoyle.
She said the election was “about the future of our country and preserving the principals that have made this nation great.”
After the speeches, Trump Jr. stuck around to mingle with supporters, take photos and sign autographs.
The president was in the Valley on Oct. 19, when he toured Luke Air Force Base and held a rally at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
