Crash on Interstate 10 in Goodyear causes long backup during rush hour

PHOENIX — A crash on the Interstate 10 in a west Phoenix suburb caused a miles-long backup during rush hour on Monday.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said the crash at the I-10 eastbound and Litchfield Road in Goodyear closed the HOV and left lanes.
Crews cleared the accident around 7 a.m., but a residual backup was to be expected.
No other details were immediately available.
