PHOENIX — If you plan on accompanying children in their quest to collect sweet goodies, you might want to consider bringing a jacket along with a Halloween bucket.

The low temperature in Phoenix on Wednesday is expected to be a brisk 59 degrees, which is about five degrees cooler than the historical average.

The high temperature that day will be 80 degrees, according to ABC15’s Iris Hermosillo.

Wednesday will mark the first day of the week that temperatures will dip into the low 80s: Monday’s high temperature was 88 degrees, while Tuesday’s was anticipated to be 87.

The rest of the week would warm up, but not by much. The National Weather Service said Thursday will also see a high of 80 degrees, while temperatures were expected to rise to 83 degrees on Friday. Saturday and Sunday will see high temperatures of 82 degrees.
