DAKAR, Senegal (AP) – Senegal’s official press agency says that a bus collided with a truck killing at least 23 people.
The official news agency reported Tuesday that the collision took place in a village of the city of Kaffrine in central Senegal. It said that 19 people died at the scene and four others later died from their injuries.
The dead were transported to the morgue at the regional hospital in Kaolack, the largest city in central Senegal.
Road accidents in Senegal are often caused by the bad state of vehicles and roads, and also undisciplined drivers.
