PHOENIX – The holidays are over for Phoenix-area users of public transportation. Well, some of the holidays are over.

Valley Metro announced Monday that riders will be able to count on regular schedules for Veterans Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Martin Luther King Day and Presidents Day.

Sunday schedules were previously used on those days.

The restored schedules include light rail, local buses, circulators and rural routes.

The changes exclude Express and RAPID bus routes for those days.

Sunday hours will continue to be in effect for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Valley Metro also announced updates to a variety of bus routes. Click here for the complete list of changes.

The adjustments go into effect Oct. 22.

We want to hear from you.
