NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) – Heavy winds in the Bahamas have toppled cars, felled trees and damaged roofs as thunderstorms roll through the Caribbean archipelago.
The Meteorological Office says rains should start tapering off this weekend although widespread flooding continues to be a problem.
Most of the severe weather hit the islands of Abaco, Bimini and Grand Bahama.
