5 Russian soldiers die in munitions blast

MOCOW (AP) – Russia’s Defense Ministry says five soldiers have been killed and three wounded when munitions they were loading onto a vehicle exploded.
A ministry statement says the explosion occurred Wednesday at a firing range in Mulino, about 350 kilometers (220 miles) east of Moscow.
It did not specify the type of munitions involved.
