Odesza, Empire of the Sun to headline McDowell Mountain Music Festival

PHOENIX — It’s that time of the year again: The lineup for the McDowell Mountain Music Festival has been announced and music lovers are sure to be happy.
Odesza and Empire of the Sun will headline the three-day festival, which will take place from March 1 to 3. It will be located at Margaret T. Hance Park in Phoenix.

Select tickets for the McDowell Mountain Music Festival are already on sale: Three-day general admission tickets can be purchased for $125 apiece, not including taxes, while three-day VIP tickets will run you $540, again not including taxes.
Other artists who will perform at the festival include Kurt Vile and the Violators, Umphrey’s McGee, Big Wild, Jungle, Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real, Toro y Moi, The Knocks, MansionAir, Wafia, Mt. Joy and Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra.
The McDowell Mountain Music Festival was established in 2004 as a 100 percent nonprofit music festival and has since become a musical destination for festivalgoers.
In past years, artists including Flume, Beck, Kid Cudi, Chromeo, Father John Misty, Grouplove, The Avett Brothers, The Revivalists, DJ Mustard, The Roots and The Shins have played during the festival.
A portion of the proceeds from this year’s festival will be donated to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s Music Therapy Program.
