PHOENIX – Valley Chipotle loyalists, rejoice. Your chance for free food from the fast-casual Mexican chain has arrived.
Chipotle Mexican Grill unveiled a pilot rewards program Monday that includes the Phoenix market.
“Through this program, we can show some love to Chipotle super fans, create a true one-on-one relationship with our customers and unlock new opportunities to engage through offers and discounts,” Curt Garner, the chain’s chief digital and information officer, said in a press release.
Burrito lovers can sign up for the program at the restaurant’s website or through its mobile app.
Customers who enroll will receive 10 rewards points for every dollar spent at a Valley Chipotle. The accumulation of 1,250 points will earn a free entrée of the customer’s choice.
For a limited time, 15 points per dollar will be awarded for orders placed online or through the app.
That means somebody would have to spend $125, or $84 using the special online offer, to cash in on that free burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos.
In addition, customers in the test markets will receive free chips and guacamole after making their first purchase after enrolling.
Kansas City (both Missouri and Kansas) and Columbus, Ohio, are the only other areas to be included in the pilot program.
